St. Catharines Museum & Welland Canals Centre Mitten Tree
Give the gift of warmth this season. Staff at the St. Catharines Museum & Welland Canals Centre will be collecting mittens, hats, scarves, socks and other gently used winter clothing for families and children as part of their annual Mitten Tree Campaign. All donations go to Community Care of St. Catharines and Thorold and Out of the Cold. It kicks off with a knitting workshop on Saturday, Nov 25th 10-3.
The City is also continuing with the Tree of Little Angels campaign – where staff and residents can purchase gifts for children under the age of 16 in our community.
Thank you to City staff for taking the initiative on these campaigns to spread some compassion throughout our city during the winter and holiday season.
