Fitzgerald Neighbours are a residents group located close to downtown St. Catharines. With the goal to foster a vibrant and inclusive community for all.

Learning from neighbouring communities in Hamilton, London, Kitchener and beyond, lifelong friends Caleb and Suzanne, were inspired to start a neighbourhood association in their own backyards. Starting with an Easter Egg Hunt at Catherine Street Park, the neighbours came together to foster a sense of community, belonging, and safety.

Fitzgerald Neighbours is modeling its work off of other asset-based community development initiatives that begin with a neighbourhood’s strengths. Building on this foundation we want to work towards improving to every splash pad, park, and intersection.
